The Brothers

There's a cool back way between the hotel and the church that takes you through these winding stone wall passageways between some of the church buildings. It really has an atmosphere of walking through some medeival city. We took this shortcut on the way to the church hall to begin our wait for the ceremony.

Incidentally, our pre-ceremony maneuvering was quite complicated. I was in constant cell phone contact with Nettie, the maid of honor, to make sure that the bride and the groom would not cross paths at any point prior to her walking down the aisle. There was almost a terrible slip up at the very last minute which was only averted because Paul and I saw the bride from the corner of our eye and took instant protective action to shove Daniel forward and past a dividing wall before he saw her.
