I must have taken about a dozen photos of this goose. I didn't know how close he would let me get, so I got down on the ground and belly-crawled taking pictures every foot or so as I got closer. As it turns out, the goose was a very patient subject.
Most of my pictures I'm lucky to just catch the moment; this one I planned as soon as I saw the goose. I'm very pleased with how it came out. I paid a price, though... My pants and shirt had grass stains all over by the time I got this shot.
