Sir Francis Bacon and Gladhand
Sir Francis, the pig, never really belonged to us, but it kept running away to our house. He had something of a symbiotic relationship with the horses.
The dogs would chase the pig. The pig would run amongst the horses. The dogs, having previously learned to avoid horses hoofs, would give up the chase.
The horses would tolerate the pig for awhile, then move away from him. The dogs, seeing the pig exposed again, would give chase, starting the process all over again.
